Worship Arts

"We were created by God for relationship with Him.  This relationship is expressed by us through worship.  We can only enjoy this relationship by God's grace.  God's great love for us demonstrated in Christ Jesus, initiates our response. The only reasonable and adequate response is our expression of worship.  As we worship, God has promised His presence.  We can always experience God in worship."  (Hartland/Moser) Therefore, we seek to magnify "the greatness of God in Jesus Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit by skillfully combining God's Word with music, thereby motivating the gathered church to proclaim the gospel, to cherish God's presence, and to live for God's glory." (Kauflin)  This is the mission of BFC's worship.

Service Through Music!

If God has gifted you with musical or dramatic talent BFC offers ministry opportunities for you.  We are currently in need of pianists/keyboardists and musicians for a praise band.  BFC has many opportunities for service in the area of music such as: 

Individual(s) Special Music every Sunday morning:  vocal or instrumental.

Vocal Ensembles:  sings praise and worship arrangements, modern choir, gospel choir and contemporary Christian music arrangements.

Dramatic Ensemble:  includes scene acting, reader's theater, prose, poetry, and dramatic solo readings.
