Welcome to the BFC Teen Ministry!  We are known as the HYPER Youth Group!  See the meaning of our name below.  We are happy to have anyone join us and look forward to your involvement!  We meet each Sunday morning for Sunday School, and every Sunday evening for our teen youth meeting.  Then we have one or two activities during each month.  Our calendar is a mix of fun activities, some service projects, and a few fund-raisers that help us with our more expensive trips.  For more information, please call the church at (248) 682-0319 or Rich Knodel, Youth Leader at (248) 242-6168.

His Young People Exemplifying Righteousness

Psalm 89: 14-16

PS 89:14 Righteousness and justice are the foundation of your throne;
    love and faithfulness go before you.

PS 89:15 Blessed are those who have learned to acclaim you,
    who walk in the light of your presence, O LORD.

PS 89:16 They rejoice in your name all day long;
    they exult in your righteousness.

HIS - Represents that we are GOD'S not anyone else's. He has "CLAIMED US" (Eph.1:4-5). Because of this we have an assurance in our Father. (Our Foundation) Ps. 89:14

YOUNG PEOPLE - This shows that we recognize your maturity and understanding of the scriptures. (You are a part of the body of Christ.) Ps. 89:15

EXEMPLIFYING -   You are not just "being" a Christian, but leading by example and rejoicing (This little light of mine I'm going to let it shine). Ps. 89:16a   Other related words: demonstrating, showing

RIGHTEOUSNESS - It is the following in the likeness of Christ himself. What does this mean? It means being "obedient" and "conforming" to God's law, just as Christ did here on the earth, and attempting to mimic the attributes (wisdom, justice, goodness, and truth etc.) of Christ.  Ps.89:16b/ Is. 45:25
